Tabique was born in 1994 with the artisanal production of handmade leather bags; During those years we grew little by little.

From 1998 to 2000, we collaborated with a Japanese designer, which was when we launched a hunting or chamois line and from then on we had exponential growth; By 2006, we already sold throughout Mexico, the USA, Japan and part of South America. Like any business, we had ups and downs, until in 2013 we started with serious problems and almost closed in 2017. We had to reinvent ourselves and go back to the origin, since we lost our way at that time.

In 2020, due to the pandemic and the closure of all economic and social activity, we began to manufacture masks, in collaboration with a client from New York, and that moment was the beginning of a continuous boom of 6 months, in which We resumed course and gave a lot of work to the local workshops that were about to close. That allowed us for more clients to know us in the USA.

Currently, we allocate 70% of our production for export.
